RIM has recently helped a large High Profile leading technology company reduce the storage requirement for their new building by a whopping 60%. Staff participated in SWAT sessions run by the team and really got into the swing of things throwing away 127 bins or rubbish and sending off 56 bins for secure destruction. This was done using the updated and revised Retention and Disposal guideline which RIM had established for the business to keep everyone on the right side of the legislative requirements. 26 boxes of stationary were returned to the central stationary area and a number of boxes of donations found there way to charities across Auckland.
Staff further converted the remaining records into a new colour coded lateral system using some standard naming conventions and now everyone can find anything!!!
